Collection of Personal Information of students via HSPnet is done under the authority of privacy legislation in place for each province, or in some cases under federal legislation if no provincial legislation applies. The applicable legislation and Privacy Officer information is listed below for each jurisdiction currently using HSPnet. British Columbia:
